As a child I remember when that was said you in return say “Christ is risen indeed”

But those of us as believers it’s more than that. But that is for something else.

When I say Christ is risen, I mean He has came alive in my heart and that I live through Him.  He is the one that has given me a servant heart as a gift to speak out and share with others that He is loved and that the gift he has given to me is one that I can hear His voice and He speaks.

It may not be very clear but once I write it down or even listen closely as a word to others and some are taken well while others are brushed off. But others take it and listen and keep what God has said and keep it in their heart as a promise that God has given to us as knowledge that He is with us.

So as you spend Easter with your family, Remember that Christ is Risen and that He lives in you.
