Dan and I love to share with others all that we have and things we seek God for.

I have run a mission from my home in the 90’s til we moved 2011. We helped many families with Christmas and food. I remember the one year the pastor asked us to help a family with food as well as presents and God blessed us.

Back then it was Dan and I and few friends… Then it was Dan and I and would post on Facebook a lot about the needs of families and need of ours.

It was back in 2010 that God opened our doors and made changes in our lives personally. We met a wonderful couple, Mark and Lori  and they sent us a DVD player. Since we didn’t have one and Dan wanted one for Christmas.

That was the Christmas we helped 37 families with Christmas and it was wonderful.. I am appreciative of that time with others and helping them out. This were gifts that were given by others. Dan and I continued to struggle and paid for things that we could as time went on and things got harder and harder. So we asked another ministry to help and take over and they did and it was a blessing.

So this year we asked for help when we struggled this year to help with our  Christmas was an instruction that the Lord gave me and I followed. I am now getting criticized for what I was told to do. Dan and I got stuff that was bought from Ebay and things that I won from gift cards.

None of the money given went to that it went to pay my bills and rent and I praise the Lord for each blessing given. God is awesome and Loving and I am so glad that he is my Father and I am his child.

So before you criticizes what I do ask yourself, Would give the time and the effort that we have the last 14 yrs in helping others to ask others to help you.

Many of you would find a problem with that because you would find that you have no time or things keep you busy.  So be thankful to the ones out their who are willing to give their time and effort to help others.

FYI, I still help at a food pantry 3 days a week and more if needed and if it wasn’t them I would find time to volunteer some place else. My heart is to help others and not to ridicule them.
