Happy Valentine’s Day

Thought I would start it off that way because today is Valentine’s Day.  But that’s not what this is all about for me.

I want to brag a bit and share my feelings on love and the people that bring me love.  I want to start off my loving and dear hubby Dan. He and I have been together for 21 yrs. Married for 20 this May. But he makes me breakfast in the am. Because, he understands that I love to work on my computer to get things done for our family. Here is his pic:20200103_131424

He loves to eat but he also cooks and we exercise together and have fun together as a couple.

The 2nd person I love and she knows it is my daughter, Amber is a quirky 34 yr old who loves to be a brat but loves her mom and stepdad and is an awesome daughter. Here is her picture:

Then there is my son, who was adopted by a great family and I am so appreciated of them each and every day. Here is a pic of my son with his adopted mom and dad. He’s 24 and a special needs kid. I love that his parents stepped up and took care of him when I couldn’t.

The one person I never forget to love is my Father in Heaven God. Yes all the pics and photos mean something. But, His love is most important to me. He loves me for who I am and not what I can do and what I love. That is why my Feature Image is what it is. I love the book of  1st Corinthians 13..

If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

This is one of the most loved chapters and I love to read it.

I hope this Valentine’s day brings you love and joy and happiness..
