Each day we are on a journey, one that was planned for us by God. But there are times we mess up and we aren’t with the right mentor or the right person in our path to help lead and guide you to the future where you needed to be and where you need to go.

The last 9 yrs for us were pretty scary and hectic and one that we wouldn’t wish on anyone. We were with someone that held us back and thought we weren’t good enough in our business to reach goals . So we got away from that person and step away from something that was toxic. I went into other things to help make ends meet and that was OK and I succeeded but it wasn’t everything.

It wasn’t til last year when I got with the right people and working together and working as a team and not as individuals. Which is awesome. The last 4 months have been months that have been life changing.

I don’t know if I told you all already but Dan is retired due to an injury and about 15 yrs ago told me to stay home and work my business at the time was Scentsy and that we could live off what he makes. Which we did and we were struggling. Seriously struggling. We made too much for food stamps and only until recently since his disablement are only getting $16 a month. Which doesn’t go far for the both of us. We ended up using food pantries. Which we know most of the food pantries in DeKalb and other places we have lived in for the most part to help us out.

But I digress, These past few months we have not had to go to food pantries. Been able to share our food with others. We are excited to be working from home still and be sharing our business with others and helping them see that they can do it too.

So What I am trying to say, is get with the right mentor and work with them and let them help you through this and guide you to a brighter and better tomorrow.
