Mom today is your 85th birthday. Sorry I am not there in person. But that is my choice. When I come up in November or December I will stop by to see you.
I pray for you everyday and ask God to heal you and make you strong. I guess that is where I and Amber get the Strong woman is from you. You have been through a lot and I am proud to call you mom.
But, I am still going through a lot with our past and the history you and I haven’t had the best relationship and I am learning to deal with it. And learning to move forward.
I am sort glad that I didn’t get the controlling gene from you like my sister did. I couldn’t be that type of person. I do keep track of our appointments but I can’t be controlling like you were back in the day.
Know that I love you and one day we can see each other as women and maybe you will accept me for my past like I am with you through therapy.
I hope that Ingrid gets Strong woman from you, Mom. Know that I love you and that I am always praying for you.
Happy Birthday, Mom. You are in my heart and prayers always.
