Just got back from Madison, WI and seeing Dr Hanson, Neuromuscular Doctor who ran a Ultrasound and EEG. There were no changes except that the nerves in his legs are getting worse. So it is Peripheral Neuropathy a proper diagnosis and that with the NPH and spinal compression his balance would be messed up and he will have to be using a walker and can use Physical Therapy from time to time and exercise to help him out which means we will probably move to a patio make it easier for him to go in and out and stay active on his own.
What does the mean for me. It means that I will have to be a caregiver and help him with the stairs no more pushing the cane and no more pushing like I did. But there is a miracle in our future.. All we do is pray and continue Physical Therapy and just keep at it. Dr Hansen has been so great to talk and work with and gave me the answers I was looking for.
I want my hubby back from 25 yrs ago who had to use a cane to walk with and us not knowing anything about what was going on and we were all healthy.
